Our psychology experts and Rehab Managers work together to guarantee integration with the rehabilitation plan.

The comprehensive service helps clients to improve their emotional health and well-being, minimise distress and enables them to achieve their potential.  We manage a range of psychological issues resulting from personal injury and clinical negligence, such as post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression and pain.

  • CBT is recognised as the primary non-medical treatment for PTSD chronic pain and is an integral part of many chronic pain management programmes.
  • EMDR is a psychotherapy approach that has a strong evidence base for the treatment of trauma.  EMDR incorporates elements from other treatment approaches to help traumatised individuals by having a direct effect on the way the brain processes information.
  • ACT emphasises processes such as mindfulness and acceptance in helping individuals overcome suffering. In contrast to other approaches, ACT does not challenge clients to control and alter their thoughts but to understand and accept them.
